We understand that health is not just the absence of disease, but a state of positive physical, mental and emotional wellbeing. At The Social Deck we work with our clients to understand the barriers to health at both an individual and system level, and develop strategies and interventions that not only address issues directly, but also foster environments that support healthy lifestyles.
We are committed to health innovation, evidence-based practices, and a deep respect for the diverse needs and experiences of individuals.
The Social Deck team is highly experienced in delivering work that understands the intersectional nature of health and wellbeing outcomes. Some population cohorts or marginalised groups face increased barriers to health and wellbeing, and there is a need for targeted and tailored interventions and communication.
We have supported health organisations, including Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations and the Cancer Institute NSW to design and implement strategies to reduce smoking and encourage smoking cessation amongst First Nations peoples. We also have particular experience in engaging and communicating in the women’s health space through our involvement in consultations to develop the Queensland Women and Girls Health Strategy and designing communication materials to improve the uptake of cervical screening, particularly targeting diverse audiences.
