Anna is a project officer with experience in social policy development, engagement, and community-led capacity building and change.
Anna holds a Bachelor of Regional and Town Planning and has worked on a broad range of projects across Australia. Recently, Anna worked in the realm of Disability Inclusive Disaster Risk Reduction (DIDRR) for a Queensland not-for-profit organisation where she advocated for the needs of people with disability and for their voices to be heard in emergency management and disaster planning processes.
Anna values the importance of listening to, and learning from, people with lived experience. She ensures engagement processes are sensitive to the needs of diverse voices and those with lived experience have a say on how they are engaged.
In her spare time, Anna is training to become a yoga teacher and aspires to do further training in trauma informed yoga, which she hopes she can bring to her work at The Social Deck.
